I got interested in image consulting
when Heart Sales Guru, a business division of my company sought to provide image training to equip sales people with an image that promotes credibility and trust. This was lacking and I could see the value and potential.
I chose to train at AIM because I was drawn to Christina Ong's heart in flourishing the image industry and each individual image consultant. Also, she is a master as an image educator & AIM's collaboration with world master trainers gave me the best of east and west in my image education. Trust and respect were tremendous factors in my study choice. My favorite part of the course was when I integrated every thing I learnt about image & coaching on a client in the final lesson of the program. It was exciting to see what I did worked on the client! What I appreciate most about the trainers is their knowledge, extensive experience and ability to teach and impart knowledge and skills. Also, Christina is a good role model in looking her best. She has a selfless spirit and dedication in flourishing the image industry and each image consultant. A significant breakthrough after the course came when I did image training for four clients. They were so impressed by what I had given them and were happy with the results of their transformed image. My joy as an image consultant comes from Helping someone to express their spirit and inner beauty. For one to dress authentically and to see someone so happy looking their best is so fulfilling. The best client feedback I've received "You are really an image expert. You have helped me in ways that others were not able to." The future I see in image consulting comes from my observation that more and more people will realise the importance of learning the art of dressing to present oneself in their best potential. Image consulting is a service that the world needs but often may not realise yet. |

I got interested in image consulting because I love to work with people. I was looking for a career that dealt with my passion of fashion, make-up, shopping and even photography.
I chose to train at AIM because the program is well-balanced and has been refined to the Asian setting. Having researched and compared with other courses offered in other continents I felt AIM was the best and had value for my investment. Plus the office staff and the faculty trainers are so warm and welcoming I immediately felt part of the family. My favorite part of the course was the color analysis and consultation. The knowledge and experience of Christina was priceless to the course. During the first meeting of studying color I was left clueless and exhausted from too much thinking. But after intensive days of training I can confidently declaim warm, cool, toasted, muted! And that just by wearing the right colors can make a big difference. What I appreciate most about the trainers is their selfless sharing of knowledge and experience. Christina's inspiring grace and beauty and Lynne's infectious wisdom and wit. A significant breakthrough after the course came from realizing that there are no ugly people just bad judgment shopping days! Most importantly, realizing my reason for deciding to pursue this career and igniting my passion and drive once again! My joy as an image consultant comes from seeing my clients with a spark of happiness and confidence. And when they say "oh wow" when they see their own transformation. The best client feedback I've received "A great job.Lucky for us who can still see the colors of the world amidst our myriad concerns and be able to maintain balance between the right and the left hemisphere of our brains. Your artistic instinct is admirable. its what makes you as a unique individual." – Nancy Sanhi-Uy, Manila, Philippines The future I see in image consulting that will be a vital element of business as the companies are going global in Asia. In Asia there is very little knowledge about this industry and with further knowledge from this industry it can uplift people's lives. |

I got interested in image consulting
because I have an innate and sincere passion for helping people look and feel their best. I love to see the transformation of someone from who they are right now, into who they dream of being. I have always been interested in image and holistic beauty, as it is something that runs within my family. My mother is a spa consultant, my aunt is a beauty teacher, my cousin is a hair stylist and my grandmother is one of India's first women entrepreneurs who started her own beauty salon in 1977 I chose to train at AIM because it was the most professional and well-reputed agency in Asia. The training proved to be motivational, inspirational and life changing for me. My favorite part of the course was the realization that image consultants not only transform a client's appearance, but that this change can inspire a client to alter their perceptions about themselves, and to feel more confident, positive and tremendously empowered. What I appreciate most about the trainers was their sincerity, and dedication to image consulting. They were so passionate about their work, that it significantly encouraged me to do my best and believe I could have a flourishing business in image consulting. A significant breakthrough after the course was signing a client just two weeks later. It was such an exciting time for me to prove to myself, and my client, that I had the knowledge and passion to succeed in this field. To date, this client has proven to be my biggest source of revenue and support. My joy as an image consultant comes from the satisfaction and sheer excitement that radiates from every one of my clients after a consultation. Another sense of joy stems from my own personal growth. With each seminar that I conduct, I gain more and more confidence and really feel a sense of accomplishment and purpose for what I do. The best client feedback I've received "It boosted my confidence and I learnt how to buy clothes to suit my skin tone and style. Shireena even took me shopping and got me to buy clothes I would never wear in a million years. The result, fabulous, come Monday morning I received compliments non stop from colleagues. I felt like a million dollars. I make more of an effort now that Shireena has shared with me about looking after myself better, and dressing up to make myself feel good. Shireena is a very patient consultant, she takes the time to get to know a person's style and makes the changes accordingly. Most of all I like that she dares you to go outside yourself to try new things. It's made a huge difference in my life." – Stacy Thumboo, Resourcer – Hudson, Singapore The future I see in image consulting is for more corporate institutions to hire image consultants to help merge the impression or representation their staff creates, with the brand message of the company. As competition within the market increases, there is tremendous pressure for organizations to have staff that are professional and impeccably presentable and uphold the company's values and standards. |

I got interested in image consulting
when I came across an article on the industry at the end of 2005. It was a childhood dream come true where I had always wanted to help others find the beauty in them. I firmly believe that everyone is different and beautiful in their own way. I chose to train at AIM because of the in-depth modules it offers. To be a trainer, one must have strong background knowledge on the topics one is expected to speak on. As I do not have any prior knowledge on Colour, Body & Style, it was crucial for me to find a reliable institution to which I could entrust to help me build my new career. My favorite part of the course was when we learned Body & Style and the shopping trip which acts like our 'exam' to what had been learnt. Body & Style was exciting as it answered all my questions like 'Why can some people wear this?', 'Why do certain cuts have different effects on people?' and 'How can I help make others look & feel good with clothes?' etc. Similarly, the shopping trip was a first hand experience to what personal shopping for the client feels like and to put all that we have learnt into practice. I applaud this method of 'testing' as image consulting is all about practice and not just theory. What I appreciate most about the trainers is the dedication they put into ensuring that all the students have a good grasp on what was taught. Having almost zero knowledge to begin with, I am truly thankful for their patience in helping me build up this strong foundation. The passion displayed in them spoke to my heart. It's inspiring to know the fire can still keep burning strong after years of being in the industry, which is a satisfaction most people can't get from their career. A significant breakthrough after the course was that I could leverage on the training credentials to get engagements I never dreamt I could get; such as speaking to thousands of people, training with other experienced trainers and even being invited to speak overseas. It is through these experiences that I find the work I enjoy and, more importantly, I can make people's day! My joy as an image consultant comes from the ability to share my knowledge with people around me. The excitement I see from them to learn more about themselves and knowing that they had enjoyed the journey of self-exploring with me is a form of satisfaction! The adrenaline rush I received when speaking to groups is something money cannot buy. In this line of work, the flexibility of time is a perk and something I always hope to have in a career. The best client feedback I've received "Thanks for your very professional & enriching session in Vietnam, I've benefitted from it too! You are truly a true life example of your course!" - Samuel, Director, Taisei The future I see in image consulting is a very exciting one with an increasing number of people conscious of their personal image and learning about the industry. Presenting image to a different level; to children, will lead me to another platform to not only educate but also to instill the importance of first impressions to them too. As the industry grows and develops to cater to both adults and children, image consultants will be able to offer a variety of services beyond image! |

after I was trained by Lynne Marks and Christina Ong in Hong Kong 2006, it gave me and my friends the confidence which allowed us to open the website FUNTRY.COM for Chinese Image Consultants after that training. I chose to train at AIM because I respected the instructors and trusted that I would get a really qualified training. My favorite part of the course was color, body analysis and wardrobe management. What I appreciate most about the trainers is Carla Mathis, Christina Ong and Lynne Marks who are very experienced and professional A significant breakthrough after the course was that I stopped giving advice to customers simply using “four seasons” for personal colour analysis. My joy as an image consultant comes from the change of my customers. The best client feedback I've received "I am so happy to find a way to change my appearance which I have been looking for in many years!" - Yang Liu The future I see in image consulting will be a big challenge in China. |

as I've always been keen to learn about colours and how it can affect one's image almost immediately when the right colours are worn. The realization of how colours /style and wardrobe management are such an important part of everyday life; prompted me to read more and even take up a course to become a certified image consultant. I chose to train at AIM because of the vast experience and background of the two trainers, Christina and Lynne. Christina's generosity in sharing details and taking time to walk me through some probable difficulties I would experience as a newbie in the industry; really helped me make the decision to take up the course with AIM. On top of being trained by two trainers combining their expertise from the East and West; the course also earned me 7.5CEUs from AICI. My favorite part of the course was the hands-on activities as it reinforced my learning and understanding of the concepts and how I can apply the skills on actual clients. What I appreciate most about the trainers is their genuine concern for the students and how they are so approachable and personable. My emails to them are promptly answered, personally despite their busy training schedules. Their generosity in helping new Consultants is commendable. Christina even recommended me to AICI to be the Ambassador for Taiwan upon hearing my interest to promote image consulting in Taiwan A significant breakthrough after the course "This isn't just a course on theory, you can practically build a career the moment you graduate. Whether it is for individual or corporate clients, this course will allow you to start training immediately. The breakthrough came because this is a course also on entrepreneurship." My joy as an image consultant comes from witnessing the transformation of my clients. The glow on their face and the new found confidence that they exude; makes the work that I do worthwhile and meaningful. The best client feedback I've received "Since young, I've always been made fun of because of my dark skin. It only got worst with the notion that one is pretty only when she has fair skin. As such, my wardrobe consisted mainly of long sleeved shirts and I wore thick foundation to cover up my dark complexion. All these changed after I met Denise. She told me that I am an unique individual and that even with my dark skin, I can still look good. Denise not only helped me with my image, she has also boosted my confidence." - Jin-Men Tsai The future I see in image consulting is filled with possibilities for greater growth and demand as I believe that every man on the street has a desire to look their best. You'd be surprised to know that image consulting is still a relatively new profession in Taiwan. As such, no matter how tough the going gets, I am determined to press on in educating the public on the importance of their image. |

because I love being able to contribute in helping an individual show up their potential more. I believe it is a skill you learn and you can use it for life and at the same time one that you can share for life. It is also a career that can span far and wide and long. I chose to train at AIM because it was an opportunity to train with two Image Masters who are not only passionate about what they do; they live and breathe it and have great depth of life and image consulting experiences. My favorite part of the course was learning to break down personal bias and preconceptions about image. It was an eye opening experience to learn the science behind the art of mastering image consulting. What I appreciate most about the trainers is that Christina is generous in her willingness to share her skills and knowledge. This, I believe is vital in ensuring new Image Consultants entering the field are sufficiently trained with skills that will guarantee the quality of their services. A significant breakthrough after the course seeing my goal coming to life when the opportunity came for me to work with Imageworks Asia, the leading group practice in Image Consulting. My joy as an image consultant comes from seeing the change in attitude, vision and goals of my clients. The 'Aha!' moment when they realize that they now have the skills and tools to help them get to where they want to go – faster and smarter. The best client feedback I've received ...whilst I truly appreciate all feedback from clients, my experience with a team of sales managers from a MNC stands out the most. I was warned by the HR manager before my session that the managers could leave halfway as they did not see ‘Image' as a worthwhile topic to spend time training on. The pivotal point came after lunch time when everyone returned for the second session and told me that they had cancelled/postponed their meetings so they could continue to stay on... The future I see in image consulting it will become a well-respected industry. Image Consultants can be utilized to effectively assist not just those doing well and looking to move forward but also those looking to start anew, students starting out in their careers, mature individuals looking to go back to the workforce and the list goes on. |

because I've always had a passion for beauty and fashion. It makes me feel good if I can make others feel good about themselves. And also I would like to raise the image standards of Malaysian society, specifically for women. I chose to train at AIM because I was impressed by the website and also Singapore is very near to Malaysia and was quite affordable. After meeting Christina Ong and Lynne Marks personally, I was more impressed by their grace and professionalism. I knew I was at the right place and that was a start to my journey in the Image Consulting field. My favorite part of the course was sharing with the class on how to conduct a workshop. Though I was exposed to public speaking for many years doing emceeing work and presenting the news on TV, this was quite a challenge because you are supposed to convey educational information and be able to convince at the same time, transforming them into a better individual. What I appreciate most about the trainers is they are very professional in their approach and each of them have their own unique way of relating to a topic. They portray the right image as an Image Consultant with their poise and grace and the manner they speak and the way they carry themselves. A significant breakthrough after the course I am well equipped to conduct image workshops and seminars all over the country for government sectors, corporate bodies and also received a lot of exposure from the print and broadcast media. I am now in the midst of publishing my own book about Image Building and Self Motivation. My joy as an image consultant comes from the satisfaction that I get after I manage to change the mindset of participants about being more relevant and effective in this world just by re-constructing their image consciously with being consistent in everything they do. The best client feedback I've received "Thank you for your amazing techniques. It has certainly changed our perspective about the importance of having positive image." - The Zhulian Group. The future I see in image consulting is tremendous response and it's definitely getting a wide support in Malaysia among the corporate organization and government sectors. |

I got interested in image consulting
after I realized how much I wanted to bridge the gap of my communication with sophisticated people in the U.S., I decided to learn image knowledge with my first image teacher, Diana Olson, in California. I chose to be an image consultant after I saw the huge needs for image consulting services in China. I chose to train at AIM because I trust Christina will help me to go to the next level of my career. I was fully convinced by this idea after our meeting in September 2004. My favorite part of the course was Color and Style. It was very professionally taught. The course offered the most comprehensive and systematic way of approaching colour and style analysis that I have never experienced anywhere else, even up to now. What I appreciate most about the trainers is that Christina is my role model in image industry. She always strives to become better and better even though she is already outstanding in every aspect of being an image consultant. Most importantly, she is visionary and gives us hope and leads us to see things that we don't normally notice. A significant breakthrough after the course I became more and more confident, and earning increasingly more from both individual and corporate accounts. My joy as an image consultant comes from seeing people become increasingly confident and their communication with others a pleasure instead of a headache. The best client feedback I've received "Now I know why Priscilla is different. Priscilla somehow has the ability to understand her client much more in-depth, so she knew what it was inside me which was not reflected outside. And she fixed that. Thank you, Priscilla!" - Jean Wong, Wellness Coach The future I see in image consulting The future of image consulting is very promising, especially in China. The global economic situation helps people in China see the needs to become more and more sophisticated in their appearance and social skills. |

I got interested in image consulting
because as a former model it was what I was familiar with and I love teaching! I like empowering people to be the best they can be. If I could improve the lives of other people through the work that I do then I have served my purpose in life. And what better way than through image consulting! I chose to train at AIM because they are credible professionals, and the best of the best trainers in the industry. My favorite part of the course was everything! The course was designed to learn every aspect of image consulting. What I appreciate most about the trainers is their individual distinctiveness. They make you feel part of a family and are genuinely interested in your growth and development. They are both the epitome of image consultants. They don't only walk the talk but Christina and Lynne ARE the dynamic duo of IMAGE at its best! A significant breakthrough after the course was when I closed a consultancy contract with Dockers and got featured in a talk show highlighting my certification! Things got bigger and brighter! My clients were very impressed with the credentials I brought home and I now continue to enjoy landing multiple contracts with companies. This was the best personal and professional investment I ever made. My joy as an image consultant comes from seeing or meeting your past students and bragging about their accomplishments or positive changes that has happened in their lives because of my lecture/talks or seminar. And how they have affected other people for the better. No amount of professional fee can equal that! In this business, you have to be passionate about what you are doing because the money really is just a bonus! The best client feedback I've received "I entered your class an skeptic but I found things in what you said which might be useful for me after all. Thank you for the big effort and dedication you gave into our class. The way I see it, you are 80% common sense and 120% kindness. So all in all, you are 200% an excellent teacher. Thanks." - Mr. Uldarico "Rico" Macatangay, Systems Analyst Finance Systems, MERALCO The future I see in image consulting in my country is highly promising! I envision inspiring every new, aspiring and practicing image consultants in Manila to be members of AICI and as part of my aspiration, to professionalize the image-consulting career in the Philippines! |

because I take pleasure in contributing to the hard work of transforming real people from being just "so-so" to becoming "so-fab!" whatever their life context is. Also, I have observed the great need for maintaining and promoting civility and a sense of appropriate presence and presentation in our world today. I chose to train at AIM because I don't like to be disappointed; my standards are high and I am glad to say that the course lived up to my expectations. My favorite part of the course was the most difficult one: learning the theories and principles of color – the necessary science that validate visual perceptions of why something (outfits, color, hair, accessories, etc) look right together and sometimes look totally off. What I appreciate most about the trainers is the 3 P's: passionate, professional & people-oriented. A significant breakthrough after the course that I became my first client! My joy as an image consultant comes from being allowed to open a new avenue of living, thinking and dressing – in positively participating in someone's professional and social growth and personal development The best client feedback I've received "I want to thank you so much for your generous coaching, imparting your knowledge and concern for my overall image!Yes, I tend to put that aside but I realize now that it does matter. I now really have to understand that even if I work in the kitchen I have to dress for success! ..I will definitely heed all your advise and make them work for me!" - Gloria F., Chef, Hilton Short Hills, NJ The future I see in image consulting It is a serious business that has a lucrative future – investments worth making for both would-be consultant as well as client. |

because I'm an artist and designer by training. I would like to use my knowledge and skills in art to help people look better, feel better about themselves, and further on to achieve their goals. It is more rewarding than just designing beautiful art works. I chose to train at AIM because I live in USA, I've learned how to work with Caucasian's colorings, however, I would like to learn how to work with Asian colorings as well. My favorite part of the course was the hands-on exercises; we work on each other's color and body analysis. What I appreciate most about the trainers is their vast real-life knowledge and experiences in the Image consulting business. Most of all, the professionalism they've shown throughout the trainings – they are cheerful, encouraging, and tirelessly accommodate our cries for help. A significant breakthrough after the course was after my first AICI conference, I found my path in this inspiring business. My joy as an image consultant comes from the non-stop learning that fulfills my own life, yet, to see I made positive impacts on people's lives brings joy to my heart. The best client feedback I've received "The Class In Style workshop is an invaluable experience for any girl transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. I emerged from the lesson not only with more confidence in my appearance and manner, but also with the self-assurance that I can make my own place in the world - in style." - Lydia C, age 17, Aug. 2008 The future I see in image consulting Being an image consultant is more than providing a “makeover” service. It is about helping people achieving their goals in life. |
